NeuroTrac™products are dual channel devices combining Transcutaneous Electrical Nerve Stimulation (TENS) Electromyography (EMG, Electromyography, EMG) and Neuromuscular Stimulation (NMS) into one unit.
Each mode has been medically established for many years, and widely documented internationally via clinical trials and subsequent papers from clinicians and therapists. |

Transcutaneous Electrical Nerve Stimulation (TENS)
|
TENS has been used extensively and very successfully for many years, to reduce acute and chronic pain for a number of pain related problems. TENS, Transcutaneous Electrical Nerve Stimulation (TENS) produces electrical signals via surface electrodes which either creates inhibitory electrical neurons blocking pain along nerve pathways or by producing the bodies natural pain relief substances such as endorphins. |

| Electrical Acupuncture (AcuStim) |
TENS and Electro Acupuncture have been in existence for many years and this form of reducing pain has shown consistently to achieve high levels of efficacy. |

Neuromuscular Stimulation
(STIM or NMS) |
NeuroTrac™ NMS or STIM products produce electrical signals which mimic nature as accurately as currently possible. It is possible to maintain all the essential characteristics if treatment is given for specific periods of time. This form of treatment can be used for treating Central Nervous Dysfunctions, such as spasticity by way of educating the nervous system itself.

Electromyography (EMG)
|
The measurement of muscle activity is measured in microvolts. EMG is also used for direct biofeedback to assist the patient and Therapist to monitor and improve various treatment protocols.

| EMG Triggered Stimulation (ETS) |
The ETS mode assists the patient to identify their muscles and have a degree of muscle control. The switch over to EMG will monitor the patients response and progress. This form of treatment is particularly efficacious when used on female incontinence and stroke victims. |
